The President, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam has introduced a special feature in his website ( ) which will be available from 17th March, 2005 onwards. The new feature is titled: "My Garden Smiles".

The purpose of this new feature is to give happiness to the minds of people. It features, flowers and events coupled with the verses composed by the President. It is intended to melt the difficult and anxiety filled minds and transform them into compassionate and kind hearts. It will be updated on a day-to-day basis for a month. The President extends his greetings and best wishes to the fellow citizens on this occasion.

Anybody wishing to download the photos from this and use and publish the photos and verses, can do so freely, without prior permission from tomorrow onwards.
